La Casa Gran is the brainchild of Anna and Victor, a couple who are passionate about their work and have extensive experience in the tourism and hospitality sector. After years of working in London, they decided to return to Barcelona to set up their own business. With a small team of dedicated staff and the personalised, exquisite service they offer their guests, they make a stay at the B&B a unique and incomparable experience.
The bed and breakfast is located on Avenida Diagonal, in a historic building called Las Cases Almirall. It is a main floor flat in Barcelona's Eixample district with very spacious rooms, large windows, balconies and a large garden terrace. It is a place where the traditional and the modern combine to create an original atmosphere.
In short, our cozy B&B is a travel alternative for those who want to feel at home but with the comforts of a hotel. As it has very few rooms, it is a space without crowds where guests can enjoy their privacy.

It is a commitment to an independent, honest and sustainable business model. We are committed to and concerned about food waste, the quality of the products we offer, recycling, reusing furniture, energy consumption and we are also sensitive to the local reality. Doing things well is our hallmark, which is why we have worked to achieve the Biosphere Certified environmental label. This allows us to verify that our sustainable practices are being implemented correctly and to find new ways to continue working in this direction. We have also joined the Barcelona+ Sostenible network in order to gradually change the city's tourism model.

La Casa Gran serves a delicious traditional breakfast with locally sourced products and homemade dishes.
Breakfast is accompanied by a fine selection of jazz records, all of which can be enjoyed in the large lounge with a bright gallery leading to the courtyard.
We work with local and/or organic suppliers, such as the wonderful bread from La Fabrique and specialty coffee from Hidden Coffee Roasters. We also have artisan and organic suppliers for our hand soaps from Cosmètics Giura and fabulous shower gels, shampoos and conditioners from Ecotech.

La Casa Gran has a large landscaped terrace, perfect for breakfast or enjoying your free time and unwinding at the end of the day. It is a unique part of the house with views of the city, connected to the living room by a bright gallery. There are sofas and armchairs for sitting and relaxing, and an urban garden with aromatic plants.

how to get there:
From the airport by metro:
Takel L9 until Collblanc station, change to L5 towards Vall d'Hebron and stop in Diagonal station. Walk for 8 minutes.
From the airport by bus:
Take Aerobus service (A1 or A2) to Plaça Universitat. Take V13 bus towards Av. Tibidabo and get off at Aribau-Diagonal stop.
From Sants station:
Take bus 27 until Travessera de Gràcia - Muntaner stop, then walk for 4 minutes.
The b&b is located in the central neighborhood of l'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample. This is a lively area with an extraodinary gastronomic/comercial scene and walking distance from most tourist attractions.
